USA— East CoastA memorable transatlantic journey — Mumbai to Boston via London Heathrow, flying Virgin Atlantic Airways — for the ISDC Conference. The city's rich academic landscape, history, and natural beauty made a deep impression. Stayed warmly at Buick Street (BU) and at the home of family — Ruchi, Nikhil, and Yug.
Northern India— Trikuta HillsA sacred pilgrimage journey through the foothills and mountains of Jammu. The spiritual energy of Vaishno Devi, nestled in the Trikuta mountains, made this an unforgettable experience of devotion and natural grandeur.
Western Coast— Baga · CalanguteGoa delivered the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and coastal culture. A one-day cruise added magic to the trip, and New Year 2024 was welcomed here in the most memorable fashion. Stayed at a 4-star hotel.
Western India— Dwarka · SomnathOne of the most spiritually enriching journeys. Gujarat's ancient temples, Jain heritage, Gandhi's birthplace, and the diverse wildlife of Gir made this a truly multidimensional experience. Also covered Daman and Silvassa on this route.
Northern India— Kashi · AyodhyaA profoundly spiritual and intellectually stimulating journey. From the ghats of Varanasi to the sacred Triveni Sangam and the newly consecrated Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, this was a deeply moving experience of India's civilizational soul.
Himalayan India— Char DhamA breathtaking Himalayan pilgrimage and adventure. The Char Dham route through Gangotri and Yamunotri was humbling and serene. Nainital holds a special personal memory — it was part of an organised trip during my masters. The Maharaja Agrasen Garhwali University and Garhwal region were also part of this journey.
Northern India— Rohtang PassAn escape into the majestic mountains — snow-capped peaks, apple orchards, and ancient temples. Rohtang Pass offered some of the most dramatic vistas of the entire journey.

Mumbai offered a rich combination of top research institutions, UNESCO World Heritage caves, colonial architecture, and vibrant city life. Alibaug's Nagaon Beach provided a welcome coastal escape.
